Head Coach of the Obstacle Course Racing School.

Michael Gleeson joined the Australian army from 1999 – 2003 and rejoined in 2005-2009. During this time he toured East Timor on 2 occasions in 2006 and 2007.

From 2002 Mick was a qualified Combat Fitness Leader, and was responsible for taking soldiers through fitness classes every morning during enlistment.

Army life also consisted of a lot of sport too and Mick was the Northern Territory Triathlon champion in 2002 and won several obstacle course team competitions.

Upon discharge Mick studied to become a qualified Cert III and IV Personal Trainer and started training clients journey at Fitness First in 2009. Building a good clientele base Mick became Personal Training Manager in 2012.

Obstacle Course Racing School opened in 2003 Mick’s own custom designed facility. Since opening Mick has coached over 16 clients to World Championship races such as World’s Toughest Mudder, Spartan World Championships and OCR World Championships.

In the 2012, Mick completed World’s Toughest Mudder and in 2015/16/17 the OCR World Championships. Mick was also one of the competitors on Season 1 & 2 of Channel 9’s hit TV show Australian Ninja Warrior. With this experience Mick is able to design specific training programs to help his clients achieve their goals, no matter how challenging the event!
